Larry Self
Larry Self is a free-lance outdoor writer, newspaper outdoor editor, and sportsman living in East Tennessee. He writes for several magazines in Tennessee and his work has appeared in a number across the country. Traveling in Tennessee, he has fished its best waters. His articles reflect his talent for writing and his love of the outdoors. Smallmouth bass fishing is his specialty. Larry writes articles on smallmouth bass habits, and his articles range from after dark angling to river smallmouth bass action. All seasons of fishing for smallmouth bass in Tennessee are covered whether it is the cold, deep winter tactics for the hard fighting gamefish or spring time spawning. His knowledge of the smallmouth bass will help you learn how to catch this fish consistently. Larry will give you tips and techniques that you can apply on your home waters or planned destinations. Self isn't limited to fishing articles. He has been the guest on a number of outdoor radio talk shows and has appeared on television as well while sharing his love of winter smallmouth bass fishing. Larry also travels to several areas in the United States in what's left of his free time in pursuit of his second love of waterfowl hunting. This is where his writing and love for hunting come face to face.
